Georgeann Enos, 68, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Spirit of Faith Family Church, 4070 22nd Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404.
Georgeann was born on August 28, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Myron and Agnes (Vopalka) Okken. In 1970, she graduated from Alburnett High School. She went on to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Mount Mercy College. Georgeann worked as a reading specialist at Harrison Elementary School in Cedar Rapids. She was a member of Spirit of Faith Family Church. Georgeann enjoyed reading books. She loved life and blessing others’ lives. Georgeann loved her family, her cats, but above all, she loved God and attending her local church.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Enos Rothwell (Trevis Rothwell) of Marion; and siblings, Pat (Mike) Haley of Farmington, Minnesota, Mike Okken, Orin Okken, Dave (Kathy) Okken, and Todd (Carol) Okken, all of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Agnes Okken; and infant son, Bruce Enos, Jr.
