George Walter "Geo" Wilson

George “Geo” Walter Wilson, 56, of Dundee, died at his home Tuesday, July 1, 2008 following a long illness.
Geo was born June 5, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Cyrus D & Frances E. (Entas) Wilson. He attended school at Wright Elementary, and following graduation in 1970 from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Geo served in the U.S. Army. Geo was united in married to Nellie Marie Snow on May 2, 1987 in Cedar Rapids, IA. Geo worked for PerMar Securities for over 20 years as a courier and security guard.
Geo enjoyed drawing and working at the Iowa Equestrian Center at horse shows.
Geo is survived by his wife, Nellie Wilson of Dundee; his mother Frances E. Wilson of Dundee; a brother, Mike (Sandy) Wilson of Cedar Rapids; a mother-in-law, Christine Snow of Ryan; sisters-in-law, Mary (Tom) Morrissey of Ryan, and Diane (Kenny) Eiben of Ryan; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Vannessa) Snow of Masonville, and Denny (Brenda) Snow of Tipton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Geo was preceded in death by his father, Cyrus D. Wilson.
