George V. Frasher, 75, of Troy Mills, Iowa, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at his home. There will be no visitation or service.

Survivors include his children, Marilee (Tom) Kinney of Woodland Park, Colorado, Jeff (JoAnne) Frasher of Troy Mills, Iowa, Erin (John) Victor of Omaha, Nebraska, Ginger (Jeffrey) Hazen of Bartonville, Illinois, Tara (Ken) McKelvey of Oregon, Wisconsin, and Megan Frasher of Marion, Iowa; his grandchildren, Joshua Kinney, Ivy Zourkas, Seth Frasher, Iris Frasher, Justin (Mindi) Van Houten, Logan Van Houten, Rachel Hazen, Amanda McKelvey, Katy McKelvey and Amber Frasher; and three great-grandchildren, John and Andrew, and Ahleena

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marilynne who died on January 18, 2004; a grandson, Thad, and his two brothers, Henry and Kenneth.

George was born September 22, 1932, the son of Vernon and Nellie (Hopper) Frasher, in Troy Mills, Iowa. He married Marilynne Louise Baty on October 17, 1952 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. George served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for 32 years at Rockwell Collins. George was a 50-year member of the American Legion Floyd Williamson Post #712 in Troy Mills.

George loved the outdoors, especially the flowers, fishing, and his dog, Bumper. He enjoyed his Polka and Bluegrass music and enjoyed celebrations with his family and friends, his last celebration being his 75th birthday party held this past Saturday, September 22, 2007.

George dearly loved all of his children, grandchildren and friends.
