Gail Elaine Powers (Foust)

Gail Elaine (Foust) Powers, 56, a resident of Crestview Acres Care Center, Marion, died Friday, July 21, 2006 in Mercy Medical Center, following a short illness. Memorial Services: 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26,2006, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses, Cedar Rapids, by Al Anderegg. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Survivors include a daughter, Richelle Powers and partner, Jon Ieronimo of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Mildred Wells of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Zelda Cornwell of Florida, a brother, Michael (Baby) Foust of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Dale (Kay) Foust of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Wendy Dughi of Cedar Rapids; four nieces; four nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Gail was born the daughter of Orval L. and Mildred Lucille (Cady) Foust on December 24, 1949. She was married to Richard Powers. He died in June 2003. She graduated from Hamilton Business College and was an accountant. Gail was a member of Jehovah?s Witnesses.
Gail enjoyed music, singing and crocheting. She collected rubber stamps, pens and was an excellent cook. Gail was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; and a brother, Jerry Foust.
