Pauline Miller, 75 of 3701 16th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, September 6, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Larry (Jean) Witten of Livonia, Louisiana, Paula (Rick) Witten and Jim (LaNette) Faaborg, all of Cedar Rapids; a stepson, Don (Carol) Miller of Spring, Texas; five grandchildren, Jeffrey (Danielle), Joshua, Jillian, Shawn (Kacy) and Shane; five stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; three sisters, Judy (Lynn) Moreland, Elaine (Doyle) Carpenter, all of Russellville, Tennessee, and Margaret (Bob) Wright of Nashville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews from Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert; three brothers, J. T., Tom and Richard; and a sister, Mary.
Pauline was born March 7, 1929, the daughter of Thomas and Minnie Rhea Haun, in Russellville, Tennessee. She married Delbert Miller on June 11, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He died in 1984. For many years, Pauline worked in home health care as a nursing assistant. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary. Pauline loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
