Freida Lanning Harrell, 91, formerly of Center Point, and a resident of Village Ridge, Marion, died Sunday, November 30, 2003, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a short illness. There will be no visitation. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at the Center Point Cemetery by Rev. Mike Kleeberger. Arrangements are by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include four sisters, Hazel Keil of Marion, Doris Smith of San Jose, California, Avis (Kenneth) Moon of Cedar Rapids and Evelyn (Bert) Roseberry of Center Point; a brother, Arnold (Maxine) Lanning of Cedar Rapids; and nineteen nieces and nephews.
Freida was born to Earl and Elva (Boyd) Lanning on July 31, 1912, in Cedar Rapids. She grew up in the Greens Grove area of Center Point.
