Frank Anthony Stejskal, 87, of Springville, died Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at his home. Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006, at United Methodist Church in Viola by Rev. Tad Tadlock. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Springville Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Libbie of Springville; his children, Ronald (Carol) Stejskal, Susan (Kenneth) Oler of Springville, Steven (Sherri) Stejskal of Brooklyn and Sandra Omer of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Agnes Benda of Manhatten, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Nick and Callie Stejskal, Christy Jones, Cheri and Casey Oler, and Jason, Justin, Jeremy, Jon and Jacob Flathers; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tim; a brother, Joe; two sisters, Ann and Rose; and a son-in-law, Jerry Morgan.
Frank was born August 24, 1918, the son of Michael and Marie (Linck) Stejskal in Cedar Rapids. On December 8, 1942, he married Libbie Titera in New London, Missouri. Frank served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a self-employed carpenter and farmer. Frank was a member of the United Methodist Church in Viola and a former member of Springville American Legion Post No. 331.
