Frank P. Ireland, 67, died Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Manor Care, Cedar Rapids. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Frank donated his body to the University of Iowa deeded body program. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his siblings, Pat (William) Schwartz of Springfield, Missouri, Michael Ireland of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and John (Dana) Ireland of Springfield, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Frank was born May 6, 1946, the son of Lyle and Madeline “Lee” (Ferlisi) Ireland, in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked as a superintendent for Sigal Construction Company in Washington, D.C.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Frank.
