Frances “Fanny” Leona Aldrich, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, Iowa. Services: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; sister Ticky Schlondorf of Cedar Rapids and four nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents.
Born October 18, 1929, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Frances was the daughter of Sofus and Hilda (Little) Andersen. Frances worked for Iowa National Insurance Company. On July 2, 1966, she was united in marriage to Donald Alrich in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
