Forrest Everett Chesmore

Forrest Everett “Pepsi” Chesmore, 83, of Vinton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Forrest was born October 16, 1939, in Center Point, the son of Golden and Doralee (Thomas) Chesmore. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Dedrick on June 11, 1960. Forrest was a dedicated truck driver of 55 years, starting in 1962. Forrest worked for Gray Transportation and Elliott Bros. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Charlotte Chesmore; children, Linda Duffer (Rob Nemec) and Jarvis Chesmore; grandchildren; Elizabeth Hughes (Bob Coonradt), Joseph Duffer, Michael Duffer (Cheryl Payne), Ben Lively, and Christina (Ivan) Nicolas; many nephews; nieces; and great-grandchildren.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
