Fern E. Moris (Wilhite)
July 20, 1908 — January 8, 2009
Fern E. (Wilhite) Moris, 100, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, died Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the care center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion by Father Rod Allers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside Services: 2:30 p.m. at Millersburg Community Cemetery.
She is survived by four nieces and a nephew, Helen (Don) Smith, Kenneth (Judy) Wilhite, Sharon (Willard) Hagen and Lorna Wilhite; brothers-in-law, Robert (Jane) Moris, Lawrence (Judy) Moris, and Gerald (Scherie) Moris; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Morgan Sprosty, Theresa (Ross) Bushnell, Suzanne (Robert) Boldt, and Virginia Moris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Moris; two sisters, Vera Donohoe Klever and Leona Furney and twin, Forest Wilhite; and a brother, Harold Wilhite.
Fern was born July 20, 1908, the daughter of Oscar Clyde and Clara Dayle (Wagner) Wilhite in Deep River, Iowa. On June 2, 1962, she married Joseph Peter Moris. He died October 31, 2006.
