Evelyn Louise Boge, 90, of Manchester, Iowa, died October 31, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Inurnment will be at Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.

Evelyn was born December 21, 1923, in rural Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Mamie (Oelerich) Fellner. She received her education in Sheridan Twp, graduating from Davenport High School. Evelyn was united in marriage to Riley M. Pentecost on December 27, 1943. Riley passed away in March of 1980. On June 22, 1985, Evelyn was united in marriage to Ambrose Boge of Earlville. Ambrose passed away in May of 1995. Evelyn worked for the Iowa Department of Human Services in Wapello and Manchester, Iowa for over 30 years.

Evelyn was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville, where she was an organist and also served as the treasurer for the church council. She was a past member of the Scenic Valley Area Agency on Aging in Dubuque, the Delaware County Senior Center Board in Manchester, and served on the Good Neighbor Home Board of Directors. Evelyn enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and quilting.

Evelyn’s family members include; Robert E. (Linda) Pentecost of Omaha, Nebraska, Patricia L. (Richard) Salow of Manchester, stepsons, Jim (Theresa) Boge and Roger (Julie) Boge of Earlville; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; fifteen step great-grandchildren; and one sister, Vivian Loyd of Columbus Junction, Iowa.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mamie Fellner; her husbands, Riley Pentecost and Ambrose Boge; and one brother-in-law, Robert Loyd.
