Ethel Edith Miller (Fuglsang)

Ethel E. (Fuglsang) Miller, 83, of 5511 Tower Terrace Rd., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 14, 2008. Services: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. J. Richard Ernst. Visitation, Monday March 17, 2008, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Shiloh Cemetery, Hiawatha, Iowa.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Miller and Neena Miller, both of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Robin Rupert and Martin Rupert; and three great-grandchildren, Orion, Kasumi and Alexandria Rupert; also surviving are sisters, Lillian Hankemeier, Wilma Davis, and Ernestine Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Marsha and Vicky; and a brother, Stuart.
Ethel was born April 1, 1924 in Nashville, Iowa, the daughter of Hans and Bertha (Sumtum) Fuglsang in Nashville, Iowa. She married LaVerne Eugene Miller on October 16, 1946 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He died October 19, 1982. Ethel loved her family, friends and farm. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
