Ethan Carter McAfee went to be with our Lord shortly after birth on August 31, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Brian and Kelli McAfee of Marion; paternal grandparents, Gary (Keely) McAfee of Marion; maternal grandparents, Kevin (Diann) Carpenter of Earlville; great-grandmother, Mariann Kerkman of Vinton; uncles, Jeremy McAfee of Cedar Rapids, Cory (Amanda Donahue) Carpenter of West Des Moines, and Chris Carpenter of Earlville.
Ethan was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents, Ralph Kerkman, Gerald (Eleanor) McAfee; maternal great-grandparents, Herbert (Wilma) Burkle, Francis (Doris) Carpenter.
A private family service will be held. Burial: Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids
