Elsie Rosdail, 101, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in Colonial Manor of Amana. Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Norway Cemetery, Norway, Iowa.
She was born January 28, 1906, the daughter of Jelle and Gerritje (van de Weerd) de Vries in Maurice, Iowa. She was a 1923 graduate of Northwestern Classical Academy, Orange City, Iowa and of St. Luke's School of Nursing, Sioux City, Iowa. Mrs. Rosdail was a retired registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; four brothers; and five sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas and Daniel both of Amana.
