Eleanora Marie Wyman, 97, formerly of Central City, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, in Winslow House Care Center, Marion, after a short illness. Services: 9 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. Del Bear. Visitation: 4 - 7 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 14) at the funeral home. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Wyman and wife Twila of Springville; four grandchildren, Douglas Wyman and Todd (Jennifer) Wyman, all of Marion, Stacia (Kevin) Burdett of Rock Ledge, Florida, and Julie Sees of Melbourne, Florida; six great-grandchildren, Calvin Wyman of Mason City, Curtis and Cassandra Wyman, both of Springville, Kaitlyn Wyman of Marion, and Brandon and Mathew Burdett of Rock Ledge, Florida; a sister, Gladys (Milo) Kofron of Cedar Rapids; and a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Wyman of Melbourne, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lumir; a son, Leon; a daughter, Arlene; three brothers; and two sisters.
Eleanora was born April 8, 1907, the daughter of Joseph and Anastazie Lesinger Blin in Cedar Rapids. On June 6, 1928, she was united in marriage to Lumir R. Wyman. He died January 21, 1994. She was a member of Western Fraternal Life Association #160.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Eleanora?s name.
