Eileen P. Walter

Eileen P. Walter, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, June 20, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. There will be no services. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two sisters, Helen Brandt of Oelwein and Mabel Millburn of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.
Eileen was born March 10, 1923, the daughter of Otto and Alma Rickhoff Buckheim, in Read Township of Clayton County, Iowa. On November 14, 1942, she married Elmer Walter in Kahoka, Missouri. Eileen worked at Quaker Oats for 35 years.
