A beautiful lady, Eileen R. McIntosh, walked the stairway to Heaven Monday, January 7, 2013, of Fort Worth Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Pastor J.J. Stevens. Family will greet friends from 9:30 until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include sons, Brian and Steven of both of Texas; daughters, Connie (Allan) Seiler, Janet (Bob) Miller both of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Rachael (Scott) Wennermark, Shannon (Jeremy) Zaabel, Lindsey (Jerod) Chally, and Ellie Seiler; and great-grandchildren, Seth and Trenten Wennermark, Ava and Emersyn Chally.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Glenn, Myrtis, Roy and Tommy Booher; sisters, Evelyn Myers and Anna Mae Sheeder.
Eileen was born on June 16, 1934, the daughter of Herman and Golda Booher, in Alexandria, Pennsylvania. After moving to Iowa, where she met and married LeRoy G. McIntosh. Eileen went to school in Pennsylvania. She worked at May City Lanes, Turner Microphone, Collins, Motorola, and General Dynamics. Eileen had a green thumb and always had beautiful flowers. Eileen made the best potato salad and meat loaf, and was a very hard worker. She was a very active member of Victory Tabernacle Holiness Church.
