Eileen Joan Lubben, 69, of Manchester, died Monday, September 1, 2008 at home following a long illness.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Manchester by Rev. Roger Henry. Family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester and one hour before service, Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Eileen was born June 19, 1939 in Manchester, the daughter of Steven and Maxine (Franks) Wilson. Following graduation from West Delaware High School in 1957, she was united in marriage to Eilhardt “Al” D. Lubben February 22, 1958 in Manchester. Eileen was a bus driver at the West Delaware School District for 18 years.
Eileen was a member of the United Methodist Church in Manchester, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, and crafts.
Eileen is survived by six children, Timothy (Rona) Lubben of Hampton, Angie (Jeff) Seibert of Manchester, Jean (Brian) Larson of Maynard, Gayle (Bob) Burgin of Dundee, Gary Lubben of Manchester and Janet Lubben of North Liberty; family friend, Donald Hoover of Manchester; nine grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and one brother, Steve Wilson of Marion.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Maxine Wilson; her husband, Eilhardt “Al” Lubben; and one sister, Barb Voepel.
