Edna Myrtle Prindle (Fischer)

Edna M. Prindle, 86, of Manchester, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester following a sudden illness.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester by Rev. Allen Biere. Family will greet friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Edna was born November 8, 1920 in Nashville, Iowa, the daughter of William J. and Emma K. (Heneke) Fischer. She attended Maquoketa High School. Edna worked for restaurants, factories and nursing homes in the Maquoketa area. On September 2, 1942 Edna was united in marriage to LeRoy G. Prindle in Maquoketa. In the mid-1960?s, the couple moved from Maquoketa to Manchester where she worked at the Rippon Nursing Home. LeRoy died in 1971.
Edna is survived by two daughters, Mary Meader and Judy Prindle, both of Manchester; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband LeRoy Prindle, Sr.; a son, LeRoy Prindle, Jr.; and a daughter, Barbara Robertson.
