Eddie “Ed” Lyle Morris, 48, of Central City, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Monday, April 20, 2009, following an automobile accident. Services: 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at Toddville Free Methodist Church in Toddville. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family inurnment at Dunkard Cemetery in Toddville. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his mother, Carol (Dick) Frazier of Marion; son, Ben (Angie) Morris of Springville; daughter, Julie Morris of Newhall; grandchildren, Zoey, Noah, and Hayley; Sister, Debbie (Clyde) Watkins of Cedar Rapids; brother, Barry Morris of Cedar Rapids; sister, Donna (Daniel) Mahoney of Elkland Missouri; and sister, Kimberly Morris of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Morris; brother, Kevin Smith; and his grandparents.
Ed was born March 7, 1961, in Cedar Rapids to Lyle Edward and Carol (Miller) Morris.
