Douglas K. Lint

Douglas K. Lint, 66 of 424 Lawndale Drive S.E., Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport. Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. Richard Speight. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barb; a son, David (Paula) Lint of Cedar Rapids; 2 daughters, Deborah (Todd) Beyer of Cedar Rapids, and Amanda Lint of Cedar Rapids; a grandson, Todd 2.0; a brother, Kenneth (Linda) Lint of Marion; a sister, Theola (Wayne) Scott of Marion; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, including Eric Eppard of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Lint and a grandson, Josh Lint.
Doug was born August 1, 1942, the son of Dewey and Alice (Eckhart) Lint, in Linn County, Iowa. He married Barbara Cutler on November 18, 1962 in California. Doug attended River of Life Ministries in Cedar Rapids. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Doug’s memory.
