Dorothy Loretta Jensen

Dorothy L. Jensen, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died on December 24, 2015, at her residence at Heritage Nursing Home. Her beloved grandson, Alexander C. Potts saw her suffering and on December 23, 2015, prayed to his angel baby boy Maximus to take her hand in his and led her to eternal peace with him.
During her stay at Heritage Nursing Home, she received exceptional loving care from the staff who adored her and enjoyed her spunkiness and stories of her life.
She leaves behind her four children, David, Raymond, Ramona and LaDonna; and many grandchildren. She was known as a strong, capable, independent loving woman to her children, extended family and to her beloved pets.
