Dorothy Sereita Campbell, 99, of Marion, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at her home. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Private Family Interment: Springville Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, William (Linda) Campbell of Springville, Barbara Campbell of Marion, and Janice Budd of Fosston, MN; four grandchildren, William Ross Campbell, Columbia (Armando) Hopkins, Shannon (Ryan Ingebritsen) Budd, and Alexander Budd; three great-grandchildren, Evaleena, Leroy, and Oakley Hopkins; brother, George (Bobbie) Sharp of Helena, MT; sister-in-law, Lorraine Sharp of Polson, MT; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and siblings, Archie Sharp, Beulah Bedke, Fred Sharp, Mildred Cunningham, Roscoe James Sharp, William Sharp, Freda Malisheski, Emmert Sharp, Roland Sharp, Byron Sharp, Mary Sharp, and Arthur Sharp.
Dorothy was born September 28, 1913, in Mullinsville, Kansas, the daughter of William Newton and Barbara (Leffler) Sharp. She married Bernard Campbell on January 1, 1942, in Waukegan, IL. Bernard died February 5, 1998. Dorothy was a very family oriented woman, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
