Services: 9:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2002, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, by Father Steven Rosonke. Friends may call from 8-9 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dorothea was born in Cedar Rapids on September 7, 1906, to Otto and Maud (Davis) Meyers. She attended Cedar Rapids Business College and then worked for 15 years at Kriz Leather and Canvas Company and 29 years at Penick and Ford, Ltd. Dorothea was a life long member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church.
