Doris L. Heath, 91, of Evergreen Estates I, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died at ManorCare Health Services, Monday, May 28, 2007, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial: Muscatine Memorial Cemetery, Muscatine, Iowa.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (Ray) Mitchell of Cedar Rapids, Arlene Heath of Marion and Jean Campbell of Wisconsin; two grandsons; five granddaughters; three great grandsons; and two sisters, Geraldine Hillyer of Nichols and Ula Han of Coralville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nina and Fred Green; her husband, Joe; granddaughter, Regina; two brothers; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; a nephew; and a niece
Doris was born September 8, 1915, in West Liberty, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Nina (Smith) Green. On January 29, 1938, she married Joe Heath in Muscatine, Iowa.
