Dora Mae Decker Greenleaf Mueller joined her Heavenly Father at the age of 96 on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Northbrook Manor, following a brief illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Marion, by Mr. Timothy Bickel. Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Private Burial: Protestant Cemetery, LeRoy, MN.

Dora was born on March 24, 1917, in Stacyville, IA, to Ralph and Mable (Coonradt) Decker. She graduated from LeRoy High School in 1936.
On August 29, 1937, she married Walter Samuel Greenleaf in Chester, IA. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1969. She married the Rev. Randolph E. “Randy” Mueller on November 3, 1974, in Center Point, IA, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, where he served as Pastor. She was widowed again on October 12, 2004.

Dora worked at Metropolitan Supply Co., Coe College, Christian Book Store and United Fire & Casualty Co. until her retirement in 1974. She enjoyed writing, piano playing, singing, all church activities and family gatherings.

Survivors include her two daughters, Lois Greenleaf Rude (Ronald) and Lila Greenleaf Rankin (Steve); daughter-in-law, Lucille Greenleaf; Randy’s children, David Mueller, Rev. John (Carol) Mueller, Lois Mueller Buesch, and Jane Mueller (David) Williams; her grandchildren, David and Scott Greenleaf, Daniel Rude, Brian Lee, Richard, Michael and Bobby Rankin, Nicole Scott, Katherine DeMos, Kristin Tibbetts, Sonya Forg, Andrew Buesch, Charlotte Buesch, Catherine Buss, Matthew and Chris Mueller, Bryan Kainz, Erica Liebert, Alayna Zernicke, and Nate Williams; and great-grandchildren, Christian and Adam Greenleaf, Cory Rude, Jeremiah and Jonathan Rankin, Devon & Trenton Rankin, Eli Rankin and Torren Scott, Paul DeMos, Ruby and Hazel Buesch-Tilder, Danielle Buesch, Brian, Becca and Joel Castanon, Madelyn, Evie, and Caysee Tibbetts, Alissa and Aubrie Liebert, and Karlee and Kaylen Zernicke.

In addition to being preceded in death by both husbands and parents, Dora also lost two sons, Laurence and Leslie Greenleaf; two brothers, Irvin and Lloyd Decker; and one grandson Paul Mueller.
