Donna Willey, 94, of Marion, died Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Living Center East, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. Howard Chapman. Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday, all at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Donna is survived by two sons, Gary (Sandy) Willey of Solon, and Dennis (Marlene) Willey of Cedar Rapids; 5 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 8 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, who passed March 28, 1982.
Donna was born on March 22, 1919, the daughter of Earl and Pauline (Womachka) Waggy, in Wyoming, IA. On February 23, 1938, she was united in marriage to Melvin Willey in Maquoketa.
Donna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Marion. She belonged to many card clubs, which she enjoyed very much.
