Donna M. Hudson, 75, of Springville, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at her home, following an extended illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2003, at Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Marion by Rev. Michael Kleeberger. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Burial: Springville Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Chris (Leonard) Brown of Lisbon, David J (Melinda) Hudson of Lisbon, Deb Hoff of Fairfield, Illinois, Dennis Hudson of Orlando, Florida, Merv (Sharon) Hudson of Springville, Luann Hudson of Springville, Michael Hudson of Springville, Penny (Bron) Avila of Sterling, Illinois, Donna D. Hudson of Springville, Ginger Hudson of Marion and Theresa Neumeyer of Marion; two sisters, Joan Miller and Betty Grace; twenty grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and former daughter-in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; a son, Edward; two grandsons; and a granddaughter.
Donna was born April 5, 1928, the daughter of Lester and Blanche (Graham) Small in Wellman, Iowa. On October 24, 1945, she married Edward Hudson in Long Beach, California. He died April 1, 1994. Donna was an active member of Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Marion.
Donna was an excellent cook and gardner. She loved her home and family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
