Donna Lee Becker, 84, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, November 30, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. The burial will take place at 3 p.m. on Friday at Shiloh Cemetery in Hiawatha, Iowa. Donna was born on August 24, 1940, in Urbana IA, the daughter of Donald and Leila (Miller) Brennaman and the oldest of three children. Donna grew up on a farm near Alburnett IA, graduating from Alburnett High School in 1958. Donna married Daniel Becker the summer of 1959 and they had four children.
Donna loved the Hawkeyes, the Minnesota Vikings, and enjoyed fishing and camping trips with her family. Donna held several jobs over the years, but her favorite was driving the semi where she was able to see much of the United States, she loved to travel. This job also allowed her to visit distant family members and have her grandchildren ride with her on many trips where many memories and fun adventures were created as each trip was unique.
Survivors include her children, Loren (Julie) Becker of Shellsburg, Iowa, Lori (Howard) Belgarde of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Richard (Sandee) Becker of Shellsburg, and Lisa (Dean) Roth of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Nichole, Melissa, Angie, Dustin, Travis, Luke, Jered, Andrew, Aaron and Alex; great-grandchildren, Clayton, William, Abigail, Wyitt, Ava, Quentin, Tyler, Andrew, Graecyn, Damon, Brayden, Kaly, Gloria, Mason, Asher, Rory, and Madeline; sister, Shirley (Rudy) Pitts of Apache Junction, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Leila Brennaman; and her brother, Daryl Brennaman.
