Donna Kay Barfels, 53, of 505 Burrell St., Urbana, died Tuesday, November 30, 2004, in her home after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. Del Bear. Burial: Cox Cemetery, Urbana. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 - 8 p.m. today (Thursday.)
Survivors include siblings, Pat (Bill) Wright of Marion, Mike Malloy of Fort Madison, Bob Malloy of Cedar Rapids, Gary (Marianne) Malloy of Vermilion, Ohio, Dennis Malloy of Cedar Rapids, Ron (Deb) Malloy of Cedar Rapids and Randy (Nancy) Malloy of Springville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Joseph Malloy.
Donna was born October 6, 1951, the daughter of John W. and Anna B. Malloy in Des Moines. On June 28, 1995, she was united in marriage to Clarence "Tom? Barfels in Leeds, South Dakota. Tom died January 10, 2004.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Donna.
