Dimitrius Campbell, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Dimitrius was born on April 27, 1959, in Chicago, the son of Enoch and Mary Ellen (Campbell) Hymon. He worked for Perkins Moving Company in Chicago until his retirement. Dimitrius was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include his daughter, Serita Campbell of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Aiden and Amir Lee of Cedar Rapids; mother, Mary Ellen (Campbell) Hymon of Chicago; and siblings, Carl Campbell, Jerry Campbell, Michael Campbell, DeWayne Campbell, Terrell Hymon, Brenda Campbell, and Charmaine Muhammad, all of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his father, Enoch Hymon; and siblings, Rodney Campbell, Deborah Campbell, twin sister Denise Campbell, and Kimberly Campbell.
