Dianne M. Heims, 63, of Ryan, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ryan, IA by Rev. Joseph Schneider. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Manchester with a Scripture Service at 2:00 p.m. and a Rosary Service at 4:00 p.m. Additional visitation at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. prior to church services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Ryan.
Dianne was born on January 16, 1951, in Manchester, the daughter of Donald and Ardella (Deppe) Helle. She was united in marriage to Jerome Heims on May 27, 1972 in Dyersville.
Dianne was a nurse at Regional Medical Center in Manchester for several years.
Dianne was a member of the Ryan American Legion Auxiliary, Cares and Concerns Committee and St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Jerome of Ryan; two sons, Rory (Molly) Heims and Kurt (Suzanne) Heims; two grandchildren, Heidi and Benson; her parents, Donald and Ardella Helle; brothers, Ken (Rita) Helle, Bob (Cindy) Helle, Loras (Glenda) Helle; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Dianne’s memory.
