Diana L. Goldsworth, 65 of 101 S. 11th St., died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a long illness. Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center by Rev. Dan Peterson. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion.
Survivors include her mother, Berneta Weaver of Marion; a son, Tim (Deneen) Weaver of Cedar Rapids and their children, Nicole and Tonya Weaver; a daughter, Nancy Goldsworth (Scott Kramer) and their children, Jessie, Nicholas and Zachary Kramer; three sisters, Esther Graham of Alburnett, Helen Taylor of Marion and Deloris (Phillip) Webber of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Everett (Kay) Weaver of Marion and Darrel (Rosie) Weaver of Central City; father-in-law, Orval Goldsworth of Waterloo; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her special cat, Sammy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leland; two brothers-in-law, Donald Graham and Jerry Taylor; and her mother-in-law, Wanda Goldsworth.
Diana was born March 8, 1940, the daughter of Leland D. and Berneta M. (Haines) Weaver in Springville. She married Melvin L. Goldsworth. They later separated. In her earlier years she worked for Collins Radio and Catholic Charities. Diana cherished her time spent at the Milestones Adult Day Health Center.
