Diana Lynn Ford, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023. A visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
Diana was born May 5, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Wayne Smith and Joanne Luedeman. She graduated from Kennedy High School and went on to attend Kirkwood Community College where she earned her CNA certification. Diana married Mike Ford on May 24, 2003. She worked in customer service and as a housekeeper and CNA at various nursing homes. Diana enjoyed playing BINGO and watching The Andy Griffith Show. She loved spending time with her grandkids and babysitting her “granddogs.” Diana was the best grandma ever.
Survivors include her mother, Joanne Luedeman; daughters, Krista Marie Webber, Eron Renea (Dan) Stokes, all of Cedar Rapids, and Stephanie Lynn Gramlich of Ely, Iowa; son-in-law, Bryan Gramlich of Marengo, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Paige Gaal, Haily (Rob) Crawford, Gage Davis, Alexis (James Grabanski) Anthony-Grabanski, Danielle Stokes (Damian Holder), Madison Stokes (fiancé, Sais Troche), Austin Archer, Abbigail Archer (Trent Lorenzen), and Aaron Archer; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Steve Smith of Wapello, Iowa, Bryan Luedeman of Minnesota, and Jim Davis of Wyoming; and step-sisters, Stephanie French of Cedar Rapids, and Teresa Svoboda of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Ford; father, Wayne Smith; and brother, Bob Smith.
