Dennis "Den? Parizek, 44, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, March 8, 2004, in Memorial Harmon Southwest Hospital, Houston, Texas, following a extended illness. Private Graveside Services: Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum, at a later date. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Debra; his mother, Joanne Parizek of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Rick (Louise) of San Jose, California; and his grandfather, Mearl Pierce of West Branch.
He was preceded in death by his father, James; his grandparents, Esther Pierce, Joe and Myrtle Parizek.
Dennis was born July 7, 1959, the son of James and Joanne (Pierce) Parizek, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graduate of Jefferson High School in 1977, he was united in marriage to Debra Koenig on August 8, 1981. Dennis graduated from Coe College in August of 1981.
