Delores Lorraine “Rainey” Zerbee, 91, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died March 3, 2021, at her home. Visitation: 1 – 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Private family burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Lorraine was born June 1, 1929, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Garnet (Sells) Kilts. She was a loving homemaker that always provided for her family.
Survivors include her children, Fred (Wendy) Zerbee, Verna Zerbee, Connie Nesbitt, and Daryl Zerbee; ten grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Allen (Evelyn) Kilts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald Kilts and Robert Sells; sisters, Alice Jane Kalouse, Ladona Kilts, Clarise Bammert, and Pat Barnes; and her favorite son-in-law, Larry Tobin Nesbitt, Sr.
