Della M. Lentner, 84, of Northbrook Manor Care Center, died there, Saturday, January 6, 2007, following a long illness. Services: 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Deacon Bill Cisler. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Richard (Suzanne) Lentner and Barbara (Robert) Pizel, of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Hutchinson of Manchester, Iowa, and Richard Hutchinson of Edgewood, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; a daughter, Donna Lewis; three brothers; and two sisters.
Della was born February 11, 1922, the daughter of Raymond and Elsie (Robinson) Hutchinson, in Gilmore City, Iowa. On January 2, 1939, she was united in marriage to Edward Lentner in Petersburg, Iowa. He died in 1980. Della worked for MeToo Food Stores, retiring after 26 years of service. A great bingo player, she also enjoyed antiques.
