Dee Fuessley, 44, of the Alburnett and Central City areas, died Sunday, January 11, 2004, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, from injuries sustained in an accident. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion. Burial: Lafayette Cemetery, rural Alburnett. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Lyndee Rose Fuessley of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Lynne Fuessley of Alburnett and fiancé Keith Gregory; his father, Kenny Fuessley and wife Naomi Mitchell; a brother Brad Fuessley and wife Mary of Walker; a sister, Paula Porter and husband Bill of Alburnett; and his companion Ann Mudd of Troy Mills.

Also surviving are a niece and four nephews.

Dee was born the son of Kenneth and Lynne Fuessley on January 4, 1960, in Cedar Rapids. Dee was owner and operator of Dee Fuessley Trucking and also farmed all of his life in the Alburnett and Central City area. He was a member of NHRA Racing Association.

First and foremost he loved his daughter.

Dee loved racing, farming and working. He had a great sense of humor and was very much a perfectionist.

Dee is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

A memorial fund has been established in Dee?s memory.
