Debra Joyce Moorman, 65, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, August 16, 2018, surrounded by her family. Visitation: 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at Bohnenkamp – Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at United Methodist Church, Manchester, Iowa, conducted by Rev. Phil Rogers.
Deb was born March 22, 1953, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Joyce (Whitehead) Andrews. She was a 1971 graduate of West Delaware High School. On January 8, 1972, Deb married Bruce Moorman in Manchester. Two children were born from that union. They later divorced. Deb loved visiting family in Colorado, Milwaukee and Urbandale. During those visits, she enjoyed playing cards and games. Deb loved music, most notably, The Beatles. She also enjoyed listening to live music, especially the bands her son Tadd, and brother Dana, played in. Deb also loved art and photography, liked cooking, playing piano and flute.
Survivors include her sons, Tadd (Jackie) Moorman of Manchester, Chris (Iolanda) Moorman of Thornton, Colorado; grandsons, Benjamin Moorman and Alexander Moorman; siblings, David (Cheryl) Andrews of Franklin, Wisconsin, Dana (Jeanette) Andrews of Urbandale; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Adam) Rick, Aaron Andrews, Jeremy Andrews, Annika Andrews, Joel Andrews, Reed Andrews and Michael Andrews.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Joyce Andrews.
