Debra S. Davis, 42, of 111 17th Street S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday November 4, 2006, at Christ Church Presbyterian, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Ron Lewis. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Mt. Calvary at a later date.
Survivors include her husband DeWayne, her children, Allix Rae and Raleigh Allen; two sisters, Mary (Ron) Corkin and Joanne (Gary) Kohl, all of Cedar Rapids; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude & Valerie Stilwell of Cedar Rapids; nieces and nephews, Kristi, Jason, Robbie, Josh, Ashley and Hayley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Debra was born October 9, 1964, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Woods) Robinson, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graduate of LaSalle High School and Kirkwood Community College, she married DeWayne Davis on September 6, 1986, in Cedar Rapids. For 20 years, Debra was a jeweler for K?s Merchandise. She was a member of the Christ Church Presbyterian. A devoted mother, wife, and daughter, Debra also gave her time working as a Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer for PTA and Cub Scouts. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
