Deborah Van Amburg, 58, of Central City, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City. Private family inurnment: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include her son, Michael Van Amburg of Central City; two sisters, Sharon (Richard) Wilson and Mary Renfer; two nieces; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Deborah was born December 11, 1953 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Pat and Marie (Harbaugh) McCann. She was married to Bruce Van Amburg, and worked as a homemaker. Deborah was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary at the AmVets in Central City.
Survivors include her son, Michael Van Amburg of Central City; two sisters, Sharon (Richard) Wilson and Mary Renfer; two nieces; and three nephews.
