Deanna Lynne Campbell (Longerbeam)

Deanna Lynne Campbell, 45, of 1930 Jackson Dr., died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at St. Luke’s Hospital, following a sudden illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. The family will greet friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Ed; three step-children, Debbie, Brian, and Nick; her paternal grandmother, Marian Thiher of Lisbon; her brother, Richard “Butch” (Carol) Longerbeam, Jr.; her beloved dogs, Nutsy and C.J.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-son, Bill, and three grandparents.
Deanna was born February 12, 1962, the daughter of Richard and Sandra (Campbell) Longerbeam, Sr. She married Edward L. Campbell on June 4, 1987, in Reno, Nevada. Deanna had most recently worked for Cedar Rapids Community Schools as a school bus attendant and had been a daycare provider for many years.
Deanna loved children and enjoyed spending time with them both in her daycare and on the bus. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Deanna’s memory.
