David R. Williams, 68, of Manor Care Health Services, Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. Memorial Luncheon: noon-3 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2006, at the Morocco, Dubuque, Iowa.
Survivors include his children, Wade (Joyce) Williams of Yorkville, Illinois, Amber Williams of Maquoketa, Iowa, Jennifer (Mark) Bendixen of Miles, Iowa, Paul (Kim) Kaune of Cedar Rapids, and Tami Kaune of Zwingle; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Loren (Janadee) Williams of Waterloo and Joel "Deano? Williams of California; and a sister, Marsha Williams of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was born August 9, 1937, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Russell and Alverna Williams. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. David worked for Dubuque Glass for over 40 years and was a member of Glazier Local #581.
