David Anthony Schulte, Sr., 62, of Ryan, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at his home. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, Iowa.
Survivors include a son, David A. Schulte, Jr., and a sister, Mary Lou Hale-Rodriguez (Gary) of Corte Madera, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin sister, Dianne.
David was born January 2, 1947, the son of Leo Anthony and Rosella Marie (Loeffeholz) Schulte, in Dyersville, Iowa. He worked at the Crandic Railroad in Cedar Rapids for over 40 years.
