David A. "Red? Hedin, 65, a resident of Heritage Nursing & Rehab Center, Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, August 12, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a long illness. Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
Survivors include his loving partner and best friend, Bonnie of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Gary Hedin of Silver Bay, Minnesota, Tom Hedin of Saginaw, Minnesota, and Dale Haule of Grants Pass, Oregon; and two sisters, Sandy Sauve of Grants Pass, Oregon, and Linda Radonski of Merlin, Oregon; and his dog, T.J.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was born June 25 1941, the son of Axel and Pauline (Hanson) Hedin, in Two Harbors, Minnesota. He owned and operated Dave?s Painting.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of David.
