David Ray Krouse

David Ray Krouse, 48, of Gilbert, Arizona, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away June 16, 2007, at Gilbert Mercy Hospital following a lengthy illness. Celebration of Life: 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Gary Sneller.
David was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 13, 1959, to Barb and Wally Krouse. David grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and has been a resident of Gilbert, Arizona, for the past 22 years. David attended Kirkwood Community College and graduated with a degree in Waste Water Management. On June 1, 1985, he was united in marriage to Sherri Campbell in Cedar Falls, Iowa. David and Sherri moved to Gilbert, Arizona in 1985, where David was employed with the City of Chandler as a Supervisor with the Water Treatment Department. David was a loving husband, father, son and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri; daughter, Jenna; son, Hunter of Gilbert, Arizona; mother and father, Barb and Wally Krouse of Cedar Rapids; brother, Jeff, wife, Cathy and nephew, Parker of Fairfax, Iowa; mother-in-law, Marti (John) Gilbert of Mountain Home, Arkansas; father-in-law, Kent (Sue Ellen) Campbell of Branson, Missouri; sister-in-law, Shelli Hayes of Overland Park, Kansas; nephews, Brandon and Chase Winkey of Ames, brother-in-law, Troy (Kristen) Campbell and niece, Madilyn of Mountain Home, Arkansas; aunts and uncles, Jim and Joy Mote of Delhi, Ken and Mary Mote of Robins and Larry and Donna Krouse of Louisville, Kentucky; cousins, Jill, Jay (Mary), Jon (Katie) Mote, Kelly (Mike) Martin and Kevin (Patti) Mote all of Mt. Vernon, Jennifer (Greg) Freeland of Chandler, Arizona, Scott Krouse of Glendale, Arizona, Shelly Pinter of Cedar Rapids and Stacy Brown of Louisville, Kentucky.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Marguerite Krouse and Harold and Hazel Mote.
Services and cremation committal were held in Mesa, Arizona, on June 23, 2007.
