David John Graham

David John Graham, 69, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Services are pending with Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion.
Dave was born on June 3, 1954, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Larry Paper and Janet Graham. He was a graduate of Marion High School and went on to work for 44 and a half years as a welder. On August 25, 1990, Dave was united in marriage to Kathy Vargason in Marion. He enjoyed gardening and was known as the neighborhood watchman. Dave had a great passion for fishing at the Wapsi in Stone City. His work ethic and striving to be the best was unmatched. Dave will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dave is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Kathy Graham of Marion; children, Eric Graham of Marion, and Brandy Johnson (Mike Lavenz) of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Ashden Graham, TJ Hildenbrand, Katie Hildenbrand, and Landen Lavenz; great-grandchildren, Travis Hildenbrand, and Lorene Rutan; and siblings, Jim (Deb) Neagle, Amy Neagle, and Jan Marie (TJ) Neagle-Ritner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donnie Neagle.
