Darrell L. Rinehart

In loving memory of Darrell L. Rinehart, 58, Cedar Rapids, who died at home following a long illness. Services: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Darrell was married to Karen Rinehart, then Shirley Rinehart and later divorced, both of Iowa. Darrell and Karen remained good friends. Darrell is survived by his three siblings, Paul Rinehart of Louisiana, Bobby Riles and Becky Harrison, both of Iowa.
Darrell cherished his daughter Darla, and her husband Jeff Haas, his stepchildren Terry, Randy, Penny, Jeff, Douglas, Todd, and Cecil. His grandchildren, Brittany and Matthew Haas, were the light of his life.
Darrell was a giving man and his friendships formed at Hawthorn Hills were very special to him. A special Thanks to Caty, Tammy, and the Transplant team at the University of Iowa.
Darrell was a strong-willed, positive, and gentle soul whose influences will never be lost. Thank you Darrell.
