Darrel R. Gire

Darrel R. Gire, 90, of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. A private family service was held at Christ Community Church.
Darrel was born September 22, 1930, in Fairfield, Iowa. He married Ann E. Knapp on January 28, 1954. He spent the majority of his career in Audio Video Electronics.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Ann; two sons, David (Kathy) Gire and Douglas (Deborah) Gire; six grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Gire, Brad Gire, Sam (Piper) Gire, Shawna (Aaron) Guy, Brett Gire, and Hannah Gire; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Darrel’s memory may be directed to Mercy Hospice or Camp Courageous.
